How are rooms allocated?

After you save your space, we will send you a room preference form. Here you can tell us a little bit more about you, your sleeping quirks (snoring is allowed lol) and what you are looking for in a room mate. We will try to pair you up with a sister(s) with think you will get along with best. Private rooms are available on a first come first serve basis for a supplement. If in doubt, just ask us in the live chat.

Good food is such an important part of every trip — and we love bringing everyone together over shared meals. Whether you’re dining at our private retreat centre with meals prepared by wonderful local chefs, or enjoying the flavours of Granada during our city break, you’ll be well taken care of. All meals are halal, and we can cater for any dietary needs — just let us know when you book.

Price - How much do I need to pay now?

You only need to pay a deposit of £100 (approx. $130, €115, CA$170) to save your space.

Price - How do the monthly installments work?

Once you have paid your deposit, you can then split your remaining amount into equal monthly installments.

Flights - are they included?

No, flights re not included in the price. This is because women are joining from different places all around the world. We can help find and book your flights. Just hop on the live chat.

Cancellation & Refund policy

Cancellation and refund policy: You may cancel your retreat booking at any point. Cancellations must be made in writing to salaam+bookings@sistersgetaway.com.

Flexible Ticket Insurance:

Your retreat package is covered by our “Flexible Ticket Insurance.” Deposits are non refundable, however, you may transfer your deposit and any payments already made, to any other retreat, where a space is available, no less than 60 days before the start of your original retreat booking, for FREE. This must be made in writing to salaam+bookings@sistersgetaway.com.

Paying for your retreat:

You can opt to pay your remaining balance in either one payment (full amount) or installments (multiple payments). The terms of each trip may vary. You will find the terms of your specific trip in the "Price Breakdown" section under "Pay in monthly installments." We reserve the right to cancel your retreat if you fail to adhere to these conditions.

Cancelling without transferring:

There is no fee for transferring your retreat space to another date. If you cancel your retreat and do not transfer to another retreat date, a cancellation fee may apply, as we are likely to have incurred costs in relation to a cancelled booking (including, without limitation, charges which are imposed on us by the suppliers).

More than 84 days before the retreat - Loss of deposit.

84-64 days - 30% of the total cost of the retreat.

63-50 days - 50% of the total cost of the retreat.

49-30 days - 70% of the total cost of the holiday.

29 days or fewer -100% of the total cost of the retreat.

No fees will be waived in the event of personal loss or injury. We recommend you consult with your Travel Insurance company to request a refund on any fees liable.

What is the average group age?

The average age is roughly 24-45.....but honestly, age is just a number! Everyone mixes together and you find yourself having the most wonderful conversations with women of all ages, backgrounds and life experiences. What is important is we are all there with the same intention of having fun, relaxing and sharing the experience with the other women in our group. Don't let a number stop you. 18...or 80, we can't wait to meet you :)

What is the average group size?

10-12 is our average group size. You will never feel on top of each other. Plenty of time to take yourself off and relax/do what you want.

Rooms - how many women per room?

It is usually 2 women per room, with twin (separate) beds. There are also triple and quad rooms available. There is plenty of space, lots of bathrooms, room to hang clothes, somewhere to lock away valuables (at reception). Some of the best friendships have formed between room mates :)

Rooms - how do you pair sisters up?

After you save your space, we will send you a room preference form. Here you can tell us a little bit more about you, your sleeping quirks (snoring is allowed lol) and what you are looking for in a room mate. We will try to pair you up with a sister(s) with think you will get along with best.

Rooms - are there single/private rooms available?

We do have limited single/private rooms and are on a first come first server basis. A supplement of £300 (approx. €350/ $380/ CA$520) will apply. Once you have saved your space you can add this request to your room preferences.

Can I bring a mahram / wali?

Absolutely! We are not here to say do or don’t travel alone. If you would like to be accompanied on the flight by someone, then you are most welcome. They can NOT travel with us nor come to the accommodation as this is a female only retreat. If you do wish to be accompanied, just let us know after you book and we can help make any necessary arrangements for them.

Can I bring a friend or family member?

Of course! Any female friend or family member over the age of 18 (or 16 if you are over 18) is welcome to join. In general, most women join on their own, however we have had lots of friends, family members and mother-daughter duos join.

Allergies - can you cater for me?

Don’t worry, we can cater to any allergies, intolerances or food preferences. Just let us know once you have booked and we will make sure the chef knows. Fresh, home-cooked and delicious…you are in for a treat.
